Lashes out beyond Rivers/Norv Turner to Meachum

Well, besides Rivers committing the biggest football QB meltdown ever, and Norv Turner who should have been fired 3 years ago, they're spreading the blame past Rivers and Turner:

meachem is old and done...royal is a weak *** joke and yes..this team should have manned up and kept VJ. just another reason why this whole organization needs to be gutted from top to bottom. I am done with this team in the state it is right now....Rivers is/was too good of a qb to regress like this on his own. It is Norv , AJ and the crap they put around him year after year.

Rivers= 6 turnovers (all by him self) in 1 half of football... That has nothing to do with coaches, or any other players.

Sounds like our message board after a loss. Actually, sounds like most message boards after a loss. They certainly wasn't singing that tune with the way they started out the gates. The chicken little effect does not discrimate with fanbase.

They have really bailed on their team quickly, real fans stick through tough times with there team

It's funny to think meachem went to SD to be a number 1 WR, he is never a number 1 WR in any offense, he should have counted himself lucky here

Yes, I agree 100%. I've always said that Rivers has the Brett Favre complex: "Yes, I know there are three (3) defenders on my receiver but I'm going to show the whole world that I can put the ball in that opening. And I will keep trying until I do" His ego is bigger than his arm.

I would have loved to be on the side line to hear what Norv said to him when he shrugged him off.

Ive watched a lot of QBs throw a lot of balls in my time... I cant decide if Rivers is side arming it, shot putting it, or trying to scratch his back...

Mark my words, write it down: Rivers for Brees is going to be one of those things that will live long after everyone involved in the situation is no longer playing or coaching the game. People will still talk about it. Like the guy who could have signed the Beatles to his record company, but passed on them thinking they were a fad. It's like Jake Delhomme/Aaron Brooks ON STEROIDS -- multiplied exponentially to the umpteenth power.

I don't see how an attempt hasn't been made on A.J. Smith's life yet with the way he manages that team.
