On July 10, 1998, Stevens tested positive for marijuana and served a day in jail
On July 27, 2000, Stevens was arrested for the sexual assault of a 19-year-old University of Washington freshman - he was later cleared of all charges
On May 4, 2001, Stevens was cited for reckless driving and hit and run after crashing into a nursing home. Stevens pleaded guilty to hit-and-run and causing property damage and was sentenced to 240 hours of community service.
On April 3, 2003, Stevens was stopped by Medina, Washington police and was charged with reckless driving and driving while intoxicated. He was fined $1,000 and was sentenced to two days in jail
On March 13, 2007, Stevens was arrested in Scottsdale, Arizona for suspicion of DUI after his blood alcohol content was measured at 0.204, over twice the legal limit of .08 and considered 'extreme DUI' in Arizona. He was later found guilty in a court trial, and was subsequently sentenced to 10 days in jail
On March 20, 2007, the Seattle Times reported that multiple complaints were raised against Stevens by other residents in his condominium complex. The complaints included vomit on their doors, used condoms on the back porch, loud parties at all hours of the night, and various noise complaints.
On October 23, 2010, Stevens was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana. Stevens had been pulled over for playing loud music, when the officer smelled marijuana, and discovered 38 grams of it in his car
On March 3, 2011, Stevens was arrested and charged with felony battery for punching two bouncers in a Tampa, Florida bar

When did Hope turn so 'gangsta'? It's not like she was overexposed to the 'thug-life' growing up in Richland, WA or being part of the USA Soccer Olympic Development Program, eh?

If she's not going to cooperate with police in the investigation and still goes ahead with marrying this guy, I'm afraid she's made her bed ... it's really too bad, she was a great role model, now there's a good chance she'll wind up as the poster-child for abused women.

Man I'm shocked Hope Solo and a THUG. Speechless really don't know what to say. Love is blind deaf and dumb.

No way! I can't believe she went ahead and married him, and so soon after the incident! Where is this girl's father? And if she doesn't have a father, where's her coach? ... somebody needs to do an intervention on that girl.

Estranged criminal of a father who passed away i beleive, and her mother was in prison when she gave birth to Hope. I know she didnt have the greatest of upbringings......not an excuse, just a possible explanation on why she may have daddy issues
