One of my all time favorite non-saints. I don't agree with his reasoning for quitting, but I do understand.

I loved watching him play, and I rarely love watching anyone play who doesn't wear Black & Gold.

Marino and Sanders are the only two non-saints that I pulled for as hard as I pull for Saints players. Can't think of anyone else in that company. Even Earl Campbell, Warren Moon, Cornelius Bennent, and Derrick Thomas are a notch below.

I often tell people that Earl Campbell was my first love. The man gave his body to the sport. He's a mess now and I hate to see it.

Sanders is my favorite player that wasn't a Saints player. Not only because he was awesome but for the simple fact that he would do some amazing play for a TD, hand the ball to the ref and head to the sideline. That's one of the reasons why I like Colston so much.

They said the same thing about RGIII. RG won't even play next year. That's two QB/runners in RG and Tebow that didn't work out. Kaepernick won't either. All it's going to take is one hit when he takes off with somebody waiting for for him. The NFL is very unforgiving in this aspect. Either stand back there and throw the ball or find yourself having a very short NFL career.
