Is this the new Miami Dolphins logo?

I actually like the current Miami Dolphins logo but that supposedly new one isn't bad. Would be a lateral step imho.

I don't think sports logos need to be menacing or strike fear in the heart of the opponent. To me the important thing is that the name and logo has ties to the city/region. Thats why I really like the Saints, Packers, 49ers, Steelers, Houston Oilers, Vikings names and logos just to name a few. Jazz was a sweet example too.

Then you have a team like the Nashville Predators or Tennessee Titans that makes me go wtf..?

There must me something up there in Tennessee that gives them a "DUH" moment when naming a franchise. Like the Memphis Grizzlies. I know they were the already the Grizzlies when they moved from Vancouver, but you would think they would have changed it by now. I don't know exactly how many grizzly bears there are in the greater Memphis area.
