Its around $123ml this year,so that is the maximum each team can spend on players. The idea is to create a level playing field so all teams can be competitive. |
Re: Your task: teach your German Who Dat member, please!
Every players salary makes up this 123 million e.g brees is scheduled to make 17.4 mil this year i believe, that means that the rest of the players make up the remaining 106 mil
Just means that no team can have all the superstars and pay them all the money in the world, as lee909 said it makes it fair for every team Do this help at all? |
Oh yes! Makes sense! We do not have those limits for football players...unfortunately!
Thanks for explaining! :) |

1.FC Kaiserslautern! German Champion 1951, 1953, 1991 and 1998. 1998 was a special one, because we had to move down to the second league in 1996, won the Cup one week after moving down, promoted back the following season and made Champion. We are the only team who ever made that as a 'newcomer'. Times are hard now, no money. In Germany, teams run themselves. No owner or so. We are third in the second division right now and hope to move up again this year.
In England I was always for Liverpool. The best singers of the league! AND YOU'LL NEVER WALK ALONE!!! This is KTOWN FCK: |
