SB winner...
I'd say the Texans will go to the SB final in Nawlins! They have the best team: good QB, great defense, perfect team spirit. They are gonna make it.
Your thoughts? |
Re: SB winner...
Denver Broncos.... Texans blew home field advantage.
|
Re: SB winner...
They will have to play a helluva lot better against New England & Denver than they did against Cincinnati if they want to play here!

Re: SB winner...
I'm looking for a NE/Denver AFC Championship Game and another great battle between Brady & Manning. They got to get there first, of course.
IDK, Houston still looks like the third best team in the AFC to me. Watching the game last night, I was thinking they didn't look that different from last postseason when they had that Yates kid playing QB. Don't get me wrong, they're a good team, but they just don't seem to have enough to get them over the hump, IMO. |
We'll see...

Re: SB winner...
They got away with a slow start against the Bengals last night, but they won't enjoy such luck against the Pats next week.
New England lit them up like a Christmas tree in the regular season. The Texans are the opposite of the Saints; they have the defense needed to make it to a Super Bowl, and the Saints have the offense. |
Maybe we should share! ;)

Super Bowl will be
Patriots vs Seattle |

Re: SB winner...
AFC Championship Game = Denver/New England
NFC Championship Game = Seattle/Green Bay I can't speculate past that just yet,. |

You were right. The Pats won't be able to beat Denver. Super Bowl Patriots Vs Seattle |
Re: SB winner...
I haven't made predictions but I felt the Ravens would sneak by Denver today and they did, and the Pats will have their hands full with them.
The NFC, I dunno what to say. Many strong teams, I think Atlanta is the weakest of the bunch, and not because I'm a Saints fan bashing. We'll see. |
Re: SB winner...
You know, I can't stand the 49ers, but it is kind of fun to watch them expose the Packers for the moment.

San Fran and Seattle look awfully strong.
I'm not sold on the Ravens, but they just keep proving me wrong every week. Houston looks to be fading fast. My guess on Sunday morning is San Fran vs New England. And I just threw up a little typing that. My favorite of the remaining teams would be Houston over Seattle, but I just don't see that one working out for me. |

I don't think anyone can beat San Fran, assuming they keep playing like they did yesterday
|
Before the season started I picked the 49ers to beat the Patriots.
I changed that yesterday as I thought GreenBay were just starting to look right and I thought they would win the turnover battle with there secondary. Having not been a Saints fan long enough to remember the 49ers as division rivals and luckily not knowing any of there fans,I don't have the hatred of them some do on here. I'd rather the Seahawks win the NFC but wouldn't be too bothered if the 49ers did. |
Re: SB winner...
SF needs to beat Atlanta. Harbaughs know how to change things up. If falcons stop CK, don't hesitate to use Gore. Seahawks keep using Lynch knowing falcons are stoping him. That is poor coaching.
Either way the falcons do not match up against a two te set, run gauntlet, slot receiver offense that the pats have. I don't think the ravens beat the pats. |
Re: SB winner...
I would like to see Texans and SF49'ers.

Re: SB winner...
I would "like" to see the Ravens and the 49ers at this point, with the Ravens pulling off a 120 point victory despite several unnecessary roughness penalties.
However, chances are it's going to be the Pats. Again. Some more. One more time. Repeat. Rewind. *sigh* |

NFL may have no intention in letting a Rookie QB and a team that has won 5 SBs in the past into the SB either. But now if you talk about ratings which in terms = Money which we know the NFL pays more intention to. Then they may throw NE/San Fran into the SB. My view of the SB being in New Orleans was, Who could the NFL rig into this game that will give huge huge ratings? Well its not the Saints because they not big market. Long time ago my choices did include New England, NFC side was going to be a team like Washington, Dallas, or NY, but thats a year too late since we saw NY/NE last year, oddly enough Washington was in the playoffs this year though, then I remember goodell telling Viking fans in the parking lot that he will get them a SB, perhaps he has that intention for Atl this year. Think about it, what better way to get to the SB than having to face 2 teams across the country that travel to your place, and then the possibility of facing a team that has never matched up very well with you in the years past? You just about cant script a better scenario. |
