Tim Tebow

TimT was a backup qb at DB. He got a shot to work as a starter late last year for a few games and yeah, DB went to Playoffs.
They lost.

Direction of DB and Elway was to trade him and whatnot . So what. It happens.
Jets hired him as backup qb.

I do not dislike TimT or really have nothing one way or another to say about his qb skills.


Why is it that it seems so many think he should be a starter ?
Why does this brother Tebow and probably even some DB fans think TimT should be a starter or that Elway was wrong?

What makes TimT any different from every and any other player out there who is hired as backup qb, fb, cb, lb, pk, p, te, etc?

I like Tebow, but he is NOT starting QB material.

As for his brother, how many playoff games did Tim win this year, again?

That has nothing to do with Tebow but everything to do with that loudmouth dumbass of a headcoach the Jets have and his decicion to play little Paco no matter what.

For all his flaws I still believe the Jets would have won more games this year with Tebow at QB.

Maybe, but only because Sanchez & Ryan are such headcases. Tebow would probably have lent some stability, leadership & composure to that situation. But mostly, he's just a novelty in the NFL, an option QB that can't pass.

Jacksonville doesn't even want him as a QB, that pretty much sums it up. Bad form on the 'tweets' by Tim's brother ... yeah, I'd want Tebow quarterbacking my team over Peyton Manning, :rolleyes: ... guess Tim is the only one in the family that's familiar with football, :lol:.

Fact :3 Tebow did not play a full year in DB as qb. He played, what one more Playoff game.
Not much of a big deal.
Fact:4 PManning is on borrowed time....still...no matter how his record is of 2012 with DB. While he is there, DB's Elway should have a young, good , promising qb ready to go.
When you have a qb like PManning and in that situation (age, record is good, leadership, etc,) , it is a time buying thing to get and groom and search for the future qb.

Seems Elway and DB felt their backup qb Tibow was not the future.

Colts' lovedloved PManning, but the future shows a need for young, good qb.
Seems they found him! Mr. Luck.

All this brings me to worry about the Saints. Brees has a good two more years. This last year was a waste. If SeanP had been coach, I would have said, 2012, 2013 for Brees. Ok, lets say 2013, 2014. After that, who will be the qb? The future? I know, I know, saying this about Brees is "Dem fightin' wordzzzz 'round dees parts!" :-)
It is a fact though about the future.
You need to get that good, future qb while you have one that is good, but is nearing his end.

Back to DB and Elway, I predict, they will search, draft, trade, and find that future qb.
Back to the Saints, they need one too.
