First and foremost, let's give the 49ers some credit. They're a fantastic team. But we hung with them, and we put ourselves in a position to win. We were literally 15 yards from a Super Bowl birth. If that's not a successful season, I'm not sure what is.

Close only counts in horseshoes & hand grenades. It probably wouldn't hurt so much if they hadn't been all over whining for respect before they actually accomplished anything.

The other team lost it more than the winning team won it doesn't show up.
Yeah, we Saints ' fan saw a lot of that this year.
