Snooped on a Titans forum, they seem pretty happy to have him too. Why? I don't know. It's like I woke up in an alternate Fringe universe where Williams is a desired coach and not an overblitzing, lying, throwing players and a whole team under the bus snitch.

I think that he was allowed to come back so fast because he sang to whatever tune Der Kommissar gave him and because he's not a Saint.

I honestly think he was reinstated just to put this to rest. had WIlliams stayed out another year this would still be spoke about next year...

NFL wants to move on as fast as possible.

He should have been held out one more season. To make his punishment the same as Payton's is absurd.

He brings a certain attitude and swag to his defenses. Something we clearly lacked last season.

I do want to say this... when he was here and saying those "Hit em in the #$%#% mouth" type quotes, we were pumped and eating it up. The guys has been coaching for a very very long time and has had plenty of success... obviously he's doing something right.

Obviously I'm in the minority here... but I think the anger and frustration of our lost 2012 season is misdirected. Goodell decided to give us that ridiculous and harsh punishment. If this much animosity is being brought onto Williams by fans, why let up there? Everyone on this football team including Payton knew what was going on in that locker room. Why didn't he put a stop to it? I haven't seen a single soul put an equal share of blame on Payton. I think Williams' is being made the big scapegoat here.

My two cents. Looking forward to 2013.
