Flacco wants $20 million

So the Ravens make it to the Superbowl and Flacco thinks he deserves 20 million a year? Trent Dilfer WON the Superbowl with the Ravens in 2000. Should he have gotten 20 million? He sucked, and he knew it. Flacco has played better than him, but not near enough to deserve what he wants.

Trent Dilfer didn't suck at all. He was however a very limited quarterback who managed to have success in the leauge by being very aware of those limitations and therefore played within them.

I'm not talking about Dilfer's entire career. He was serviceable over his career. But that year, especially in the playoffs? He was terrible and so was the rest of that offense. Their best output was in the Superbowl, and even then they had some defensive and special teams scores, as I remember.

So my point is that it is never about one player. Flacco has been very ordinary, on a good team, for years and suddenly he thinks he's THE man. That's where I have a problem with him.
