Honestly, I just wish the national and even local media would stop trying to make it as though there's no variation in our feelings towards the commissioner.

I don't particularly care for what Schefter or whoever wrote that article had to say. Schefter is stating the obvious, as others have already said, but then you have this person acting like what he's saying isn't true. I'm on board with the idea that the media needs to stop beating a dead horse and making it seem like Goodell is going to be burned at the stake. But I'm pretty sure there won't be too many people shaking his hand and saying welcome to New Orleans, either.

I don't want to defend anyone from espn, but I didn't hear the word hate from Schefter. What I didn't like is when he said "even with the positive things he's done for this city". What positive? Louisiana taxpayers had way more to do with rebuilding that dome than anyone else.
