Talib re-up for 5 million
Patriots re-sign CB Aqib Talib to a one-year, $5 million deal.
While there was initial talk Talib could wind up with the Redskins, he ultimately drew little interest in a down market for cornerbacks. Talib's one-year contract gives him the opportunity to put together a solid 2013 season and then potentially hit the market again in 2014. Source: Adam Schefter on Twitter |

This is probably what Asomugha should do; sign a 1-yr contract with a team that'll be a good fit, and then re-enter the FA pool next offseason in potentially a less congested market for CBs and a good season under the belt. |
Re: Talib re-up for 5 million
Exactly. All the top free agent cornerbacks are less than money in hopes that the market rebounds next year. With him already making 4 million, the likelihood for Nnamdi taking a 1 year discounted deal goes up and up each and every day.
I'd loooooooooooooooOOoOOOoooooOOOoooveeeeeeeeeeeeeee a 1 year 2 or 3 million dollar deal. |

Whats the over under before he screws up ?

Re: Talib re-up for 5 million
I'll take that over. Belichick did a great job with him last year and he's only on a one year contract. If he wants to cash in, he needs to be on his best behavior. Not to mention, he's probably already on probation.

He's on PROBATION. Good luck.

Smart move by Talib. He has the talent to parlay this season into a major payday.
