Pat White drops concussion lawsuit as he prepares to return to NFL
Well, here’s a development that likely won’t be sent via email by the lawyers representing the former players who are suing the NFL for concussions.
According to Nathan Fenno of the Washington Times, Pat White had joined the concussion lawsuit when he was a former player. Now that he’s reportedly poised to become a current player again with the Redskins, he is dropping his claim. During his one season in the NFL, White apparently suffered only one concussion, in a game against the Steelers. A hit from cornerback Ike Taylor knocked White out, and resulted in him being removed from the field immobilized on a stretcher. His lawsuit had alleged, per Fenno, that he “continues to suffer from permanent injuries [including] severe headaches, speech issues, memory loss.” If that’s true, then how will he pass a physical? If that’s not true, it makes us wonder how many of the other allegations made by the former players suing the NFL concussions aren’t true, either. He's probably a good fit for Washington, at least as a camp body.
He runs the same style offense RG3 runs so he can spell RG3 running the drills in camp and pre-season. The upside is he makes the team and he can sub for RG3 if necessary and they don't need to change much of their gameplan. Obviously he's a longshot to make the team. |

So if he doesn't make the team is the Lawsuit on again ???

Re: Pat White drops concussion lawsuit as he prepares to return to NFL
If he doesn't make the team of course he will. Concussion will be why his "career" is "over". It's all going to go POP! At least Mike Golic of Mike and Mike fame is honest. He says, Even if I knew going in, I would have still played! 7 on 7, walk in, touch anywhere anyone? It could be played in the street, telephone pole to telephone pole!!!
