No. Not an option. Especially this year

Re: I want Geno Smith
The same reason the Packers "wasted" a draft pick on Aaron Rogers.

Re: I want Geno Smith
When people talk about the most valuable player available, the QB's have to enter the conversation. Yes, without any doubt, defense and OT are the most pressing needs. But, Brees's contract in two or three years, his age, his small stature, and his very high number of attempts which exposes him to hits, is a reality no one wants to talk about. In a perfect world, his contract, production, and health will work for many years. However, we don't live in a perfect world. McNown or Wallace will not win a game for Brees if he goes down. Barkley could. Smith could. Plus, they have great trade value as well. In my best case scenario, an impact player falls to #15. Next, the Saints trade down and trade Ivory and are able to grab OLB Collins early and QB Griffin late.

Re: I want Geno Smith
It would seem Mickey Loomis, Sean payton and most of all Drew Brees need to check with people here to see how much longer he can play...
really this Drew Brees sh*t about his age, arm, contract is getting old.... |
