Michigan Panthers, led by Louisiana's own Bobby Hebert, won the league's inaugral championship ... it was a "fun league", . The only two other players I can remember from that team were WR Anthony Carter (UofM) and the kicker, some Serbian guy named Novo Bojovic who did really well later on in the Arena Football League.

From a Saint standpoint, we can add QB John Fourcade to your memory. He played in just about every other league there was at some point. I think his USFL stent was in the mid-80s.

That name is kinda' familiar & man, you're right! 10 teams in something like 6 different leagues, that guy got around, .
