This was a great informative read. It is apparent that the Falcon fans really hate the Saints, which is predictable. What surprised me was their universal hatred of Lance Moore. I wonder if its because he dances so much.

Obviously it is. He celebrates more than any WR in our division, even on routine catches. Its the only thing I don't like about Lance Moore.

I don't agree with you.

Check out this 2012 highlight video of Lance Moore. A lot of the clips end after Moore catches the ball, but other than signaling a 1st on a few, and the ones that show him making a TD, Lance doesn't celebrate a lot, at least not in these clips.

I usually don't like all the dancing either Danno. But with Lance I think I get it. First of all he dances like he's as white as I am. And second he's little and slow. If we were sitting next to him at a bar we would probably think he's a nerd. Yet he's a stud NFL receiver who I admit I dogged for years but he's definetely won me over. Its who he is and I say keep dancin Lance.

I don't mind dancing, but not not when you catch a 4 yard out. Celebrate the exceptional, not the routine.

Lance is no where close to white. I've seen some LM dance moves that would rival Michael Jackson. Boy's got some moves.

He's not slow at all. He's extremely fast, he's just not a top end guy. He can cut on a dime. Dude is lighting quick stop and go, cut left, cut right.

And just because I don't like the excessive celebration doesn't mean I don't like him. He's one of my favorite Saints.

In a gameday chat last year he caught a routine pass and started his dancing crap, and several people in chat posted that he should just quit that crap and get back to the huddle so I know I'm not the only one.

Its all good, I just prefer the Marques Colston type celebrations. A high five or two after you handed the ball back to the refs. Its what I loved about Barry Sanders too.

Yes, my favorite players are ur Colston, Deuce, Hilliard, types who score TDs and flip the ball to the ref. My point was that Lance is probably not one of the most physically gifted wr in the NFl. Does he run better than 4.6? I doubt it. And what is he 5"8 180 lbs at best? Hell he was undrafted. Oh and I still swear that dude is a terrible dancer! I think that's why its funny to me. Don't get me wrong though, he's damn good. He's new version of Danny Abramowicz, my high school football coach. If he gets a fingertip on the ball hell catch it!

That and the fact that he always destroys the Falcons. They can't deal with him.
