Bears agree to terms with Sedrick Ellis
The Chicago Bears have reached a one-year deal with defensive tackle Sedrick Ellis.
Ellis was drafted No. 7 overall in the 2008 NFL Draft by the New Orleans Saints, playing five seasons for the Saints organization. He recorded 12.5 sacks and 100 tackles with the Saints including 36 tackles in 16 games this past season. He will join Nate Collins and Corvey Irvin as newly off-season signed defensive tackles on the Bears roster. The off-season signs will compete for playing time against Bears’ veterans Henry Melton and Stephen Paea while Amobi Okoye remains unsigned. Re: Bears agree to terms with Sedrick Ellis
Ellis is a decent down DT. If they got him cheap I'd say its a good signing.

Ellis will make the team and rotate in. Ellis would make 1/2 the teams in the NFL right now.
