Re: Tebow catching passes
Expected; the Pats are down two TE's

Re: Tebow catching passes
Good luck to Tebow.

Re: Tebow catching passes
So if he pulls this off during a game does Skip Bayless get his wings and the world come to an end all at the same time?

Re: Tebow catching passes
Let him play QB. Not in New England of course, but somewhere.

Re: Tebow catching passes
Mark it down, my prediction is, they are gonna do this -- and they are gonna try and do it against us. The timing of our game with them is the perfect spot in the season for them to unveil this type of gimmick, week 6...They have the Jets and Dolphins the following weeks after us, 5 weeks is enough time to get their base offense together, then roll out something kooky like this, they test it out at home in their own stadium before going on the road to the Jets. We have a "suspect" or untested defense, that is historically susceptible to these types of trick plays and gimmicks (remember that miserable Cleveland Browns game)....if I was Bellichick, I would totally have the Saints game circled on the calendar as a possibility for the debut of Tebow as a Wildcat-style receiver, or other kooky type plays. Trick plays work against us. It's a fact.

Re: Tebow catching passes
He is throwing INTs and had 3 balls batted down at camp in 7on7s.. He is not a QB.
They pick up a starting TE before the season starts and Tebow rotates in.... He is done at QB, if any gimmick plays happen they will use them against the Jets. You do not plan gimmicks against the Saints offense.... Especially when your offense is suspect..... Possibly more suspect than our defense. Who are the Patriots receiving "threats"? Running "threats"? Don't go looking for a depth chart, if you do, you've proven my point. Our defense is not suspect, it is presently unknown. They will be known by then and holding their own. |
Re: Tebow catching passes
Pats offense is always a threat with Tom Brady. He won rings with no receivers. They'll find a way with that coaching guru they have.
As far as us, we'll blow them out. They're defense is weak. |

Are you saying the defenses of 2010/Williams, 2012/Spags, 2013/Ryan are comparable ? Remember 1/2 time at SB 44? Colts did not have a suspect defense. |
Re: Tebow catching passes
I honestly think Tebow ends up as a FB in the league...he is competitive and will be able to appreciate the gratification that comes from a well placed block...he is the kind of guy that any kid can look up to but is in no way, shape or form a NFL QB...I wish him the best and think that NE is a good fit for him...additionally Brady could pass to exclusively forum members and still have a winning season.
