Who was better 1972 Dolphins or 2009 Saints
According to a simulation of these two teams on WhatifSports.com the Saints came out on top. A lot of people say you need to simulate numerous games and take the highest win percentage before determining who would have won, but that's just an opinion.
It was a close game and the Saints trailed the Dolphins into the 4th quarter before going up by a touchdown. We all know that these were different eras and the players have progressed with their speed and size, but it's all in fun. No one can deny the 1972 Dolphins were a team of destiny as were the 2009 Saints.
