Bell has a role, new celebration for Lions
Classy guy; hope he and the Lions have much success
Bell always had confidence. He was always ready. Had to be. Bell never doubted his ability or that eventually he would find a role with an NFL team. His stop in New Orleans is what really gave him the belief it would work out somewhere, somehow. Bell said Saints coach Sean Payton told him, when he released him, they kept him on the roster because he played well enough they felt they had to. OR "We kept you on the roster because you played well enough and we felt we had to and we're letting you go." |

Re: Bell has a role, new celebration for Lions
I was really bummed when Det. snatched him off our PS. I'd take him over Ingram or Cadet. In fact I was hoping we'd keep him over Ivory. He's not as talented as Ivory but he's a lot more durable. (and versatile.)

I see him much like what is pointed out in the 'Ingram threads' ... you just gotta' find the right spot for him. NO's RB roster has to be the envy of the NFL, he was just odd-man out at the time. |
