If true this is a HUGE blow for the Falcons.

Bigger blow than losing Jackson or Spoon. They have zero depth @ DE.

+1. Especially when Ewing helps open holes/gaps for Stephen Jackson. To my understanding they BOTH are done for 2013.

I'm not glad he's injured, but I will admit I'm a little relieved that its not just our guys who are going down like flies. It looks like its a league-wide problem.

I also read that Panthers safety Godfrey (sp?) is out for the year too.

Biermann was arguably their best defensive player. Huge loss. He seems like a good guy(yes I've seen some of their reality show... bite me). Good luck to him.

Kroy Biermann really amazed me in the Week One Matchup with the assignments he was tasked; chip block the TE off his timing route, secure the flat, stunt rush the passer...

Yeah, I say they have a major hole there now...

Achilles Tendon=out for the season. Semi-out for the next year, playing year. Traded then or after and out of NFL by year 3 or sooner after Achilles Tendon injury.
