Obviously, Mike Holmgren has no inclination to work in the NFL again (even though there are still teams that would hire him...even after this. Haha). I think there is a large enough contingent that is thinking similarly as him to merit him saying what he said. It's not like he's saying something wildly insane. I would only call it poor judgement to say it if he were actively pursuing a job as a GM or coach, which he isn't. After hearing about the trade, even my first reaction was that the Browns were mailing it in for the season already, & I don't hold Richardson in some unmerited high regard. I can agree with the notion that he could be considered their best offensive player not named Joe Thomas, but that isn't saying much considering the lack of offensive talent the team has. Gordon is an off field liability and Jordan Cameron is a rookie on the rise. Blah....
