The Cowboys reportedly will be without defensive end DeMarcus Ware for several weeks as they enter a challenging stretch of schedule.

According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, Ware is slated to be out 3-4 weeks with a quadriceps injury suffered in Sunday’s victory at Washington.

The 31-year-old Ware pulled up when rushing the quarterback on a passing play.

Regarded as one of the NFL’s top pass rushers, Ware has recorded four sacks in six games this season for Dallas.

Four of the Cowboys’ next five games are away from home, with road contests at Philadelphia (Oct. 20), Detroit (Oct. 27) and New Orleans (Nov. 10) before their Nov. 17 bye. The Cowboys then play at the Giants on Nov. 24.

I remember our "undefeated" season. The Cowboys did not beat us... a not supposed to play Damarcus Ware did.

Hopefully this time around Sean has learned from his mistakes of 2009 and prepares the Saints as if Ware is going to play that game
