Anyone like failclowns chances against the kittens?

Atlanta played the 39ers harder than I thought they would; I feel like they have a decent chance of beating Carolina Sunday.

I hope, but we need to handle business; period.

It's not a huge stretch. Atlanta could beat Carolina in their house.

One thing about Mike Smith is he is a professional. The Falcons defense is bad bad super bad this year. Their offense is even more inept than some of the Saints worst showings this year. With that said, they can to play last night.

If you think they care what position the Saints play in the playoffs then you need to have your head examined. They have nothing to lose except their jobs if starters don't show up.

Carolina put on a pretty sad performance last Sunday. The problem was they beat an offense that delivered, yet again, one sorry azz performance on the road. The Saints had numerous opportunities to put nails in the coffin and could not. Cam had one (1) decent pass in the second half that led to their late TD. Carolina is inflated and Atlanta can beat them.

49ers had everything on the line last night and Atlanta came to play. One crap bobbling of the bally by their WR that led to an int was the only difference.

I agree 100%.

I CANNOT BELIEVE IT. A FALCONS FAN HAS COME ON OUR BOARD TO TRASH TALK HIS TEAM. WOW.

This is exactly why I said calling people a Failclown fan is the worst criticism I could ever level.

The falcons do have a chance at beating the panthers. They won't lay down in favor of one division foe over another. I'm more concerned about us not winning.

Re: Anyone like failclowns chances against the kittens?

I think the Falcons will want to be the spoiler in their game. I do not think they really care at this point who wins the South, but do know they have a chance to knock one team out of the lead by winning. Smith is hurt for the Panthers and that hurts Scam! I really think the Falcons will come to play and I think they will want to give their fans something to go home with positive! I may be wrong and they will lay down on this game , but I have a lot of respect for what Coach Smith is all about and that has always been winning not rolling over ! But we still have to have the mindset that if we win we are in and that is what matters the most ! Just getting in the playoffs and then anything can happen.

Good Luck to Tony G. You had a great career.

The Falcons played extremely hard against the Whiners and should have won that game. I like the Falcons chances because they have absolutely owned Cam in the head to head series and they'll be playing at home.

I'm calling it: Falcons 21, Panthers 17.

Re: Anyone like failclowns chances against the kittens?

The falcants played surprisingly well on Monday. They showed that they aren't about to lay down to end the season. The team has talent and they are playing their last home game of the season. Any professional worth their pay will show up plus, Coach Smith doesn't strike me as someone who would allow quitting. All that being said, the falcants have my support this week (and only this week)...

Re: Anyone like failclowns chances against the kittens?

fans always talk about teams losing at the end of the year to get a better draft position, but for the guys on the field, they know they are playing for a job, contract, or just pride.
Coaches might make personnel decisions that hurt the team, but the guys who take the field will play hard. I don't think the Falcons want to go 4-12 or 1-5 in division
Unfortunately, not sure the Falcons can win, and there will only be 30,000 fans at the game

Surprised by the delusion in the voting on this poll. People will believe anything if it gives them hope, I guess. Panthers will handle their business, will win and lock up the #2 seed before the Saints even hit the field Sunday to fight for it. That chance for the Saints was last week, not this week.

I don't think its far fetched for Atlanta to win their last game at home. Carolina is a solid defensive ball club however they do have their share of problems offensively and Cam isn't exactly a world beater passing the ball.

A lot of players for the dirty birds are on notice (job security) including the HC, Tony G's last professional game etc., I'll be surprised if they fold up like a cheap tent.

Any Given Sunday.

I think Atlanta is capable of beating Carolina, especially after watching the way they played last week. Do I think Atlanta will beat Carolina? No.

Re: Anyone like failclowns chances against the kittens?

This will be Atlanta's last time taking the field this season in front of their "fans". If they can keep the game tight I think they can pull it off. If they get behind early it will deflate them and they will just role over. Let's hope Cam has the "bigger than usual" head and throws his typical INTs allowing Atlanta to get and keep the momentum.

One thing about the NFC South teams the rivalry is a as good as it gets. The Falcons and The Panthers game will be a battle.

Re: Anyone like failclowns chances against the kittens?

What is this keeping the game tight thing, no doubt Atlanta can win, Steve smith is doubtful with his hamstring injury, so is Jonathan Stewart, Carolina defense is the only thing keeping this team afloat, this is a game the falcons can get. Falcons win 24 - 17

Re: Anyone like failclowns chances against the kittens?

Don't forget, Cam came up gimpy late in the game last week. That too may be a weakness that Atlanta can use.

If felt like we could win this game, I'd say so. I'd love it if we won. I know it would give the Saints home field, but I don't care. Its sucks being depressed over this team.

Atlanta is very capabale of winning and wouldn't surprise me, however my gut tells me Carolina has this one.
I would like to see Matt Ryan light up that scoreboard...

I didn't get trash talking thier team by that comment.
Heck I saw New Orleans losing a few games this year doesn't mean I'm trashing them.
