TG had a great year on a crap team, and is in awesome shape.
He did say he would consider coming back mid year to a contender. He might be pissed enough at ATL to join us cheaply

Great idea but I'm pretty sure Atlanta holds the rights to him. They'd have to let him go, probably through a trade. If they cut him, he'd go through waivers and there's no way he'd fall all the way to us before being picked up.

Tony Gonzalez is a terrible blocker... He isn't a "true" tight end any more than Jimmy is.

Even the players on that team are fair weather LOL. An elite QB makes the players around him better. That contract they gave ol' noodle arm will be the albatross around their neck.
