Report: Colin Kaepernick investigated for alleged sexual assault
 

San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick has not been charged, but is reportedly being investigated for a possible sexual assault.

TMZ reports that police are investigating an alleged incident at the Viceroy Hotel in Miami this month.

The investigation is described as in the “beginning stages.” No details were provided about the nature of the allegations against Kaepernick.

TMZ reached out to Kaepernick’s agent and the 49ers and neither had any comment.

UPDATE 12:43 p.m. ET: The 49ers released the following statement from General Manager Trent Baalke: “The 49ers organization is aware of the recent media report regarding Colin Kaepernick and is in the process of gathering the pertinent facts.”

Innocent until proven guility, of course, but I've always thought that dude looked skeezy. If I saw him in Walmart I'd be thinking, that guy looks like a date rapist.

"The Miami Police Department confirmed Thursday that San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick, wide receiver Quinton Patton and Seattle Seahawks receiver Ricardo Lockette were named as persons involved in an incident report filed April 4, 2014."

"The alleged victim reported to police that on April 1 at approximately 9 p.m., she visited Lockette's apartment. Kaepernick and Patton were also there. She said she mixed drinks and prepared shots for them and was told that in order to drink the shots, she had to "hit" the bong, which contained marijuana, according to the police report.

She said to police that she began to feel light-headed and went to a bedroom to lie down. Kaepernick, with whom she said she had a previous sexual relationship, followed her into the bedroom. They did not have sex, she told police.

Shortly thereafter, the alleged victim said she could not remember anything else that happened. She woke up in a hospital bed and does not remember how she got there or who transported her to the hospital, according to the police report."

doesn't matter if anything happened or not. this kid's becoming a well known star NFL athlete. putting yourself in those situations is a recipe for writing a check your a## can't cash.

Yeah if nothing comes from the sexual abuse accusation the leauge will probably look into the bong thing.

So she drank and smoked. Then ended up in a hospital. So what? Is that all there is to the story or am I missing something?
