Ryan's precedent-setting drop with Falcons could be a one-time thing
Smart money says it won't be!!!
In the Super Bowl era, Matt Ryan is the only NFL quarterback to pilot his team to 11 or more victories one season ... and then lead the same club to four or less wins the next year -- while starting every game of that losing campaign. Your money is probably right WhoDat. I've been saying for a couple years now that you will see a different Ryan when Tony G. retires. Well it's happened. White is aging and when he can't get away with the push off he's not as effective. Jones is a monster (when healthy). For years the media has tried to push Ryan into that elite status but he's just a very good QB with the right talent around him, see the three names above (especially Tony) to make him a better than average QB. Without Tony it's going to be a tough season for him. And that just breaks my heart.:party:Can't you tell.

I think it's more about soft coaching than Ryan being terrible.

Coach Smith thought they were close so they swung for the fence. Got a couple of pretty foul balls out of it but it's over. They need a new QB, RB, TE, OL, DL.
