A day after injuring his leg while celebrating a sack of Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers, the Lions linebacker was placed on injured reserve with a torn ACL in his left knee.

Yep, he's out for the season with a torn ACL ... and on a team that historically lacks depth on it's rosters, :rolleyes:

I couldn't believe it ... after the way the Pack has manhandled the Lions the past 20+ meetings, it was refreshing to actually be in that game ... and then this boner happens, :rolleyes: ... right when he started that celebration I was thinking, "act like you've sacked someone before" and then he pulled up ... I accept full blame for hexing the man, :lol:.

But you're absolutely right about Karma ... and stuff like this is why the Lions will never be great ... again ... ever, :(.

Alright, consider it a wager (value to be determined later, something creative & Mudbug-iesh, :D) ... I picked the Saints preseason for that one and I gotta' stick with it or risk being assigned to the "bandwagon" squad, :lol: ... has to be the some kind of record or the first time in the history of NFL Message Boards that two fans have wagered against their perspective teams & for the opponent, :rofl: ... it's shaping up to be that kind of year in the NFL anyway, :dizzy:.

No, but it is karma when you play on a team with only one playoff victory in the past 50yrs and the history the Lions have that, when your team finally does appear to be taking a few steps forward, you (arguably being the most valuable player on the defense) act a fool (like you haven't sacked a QB before, :rolleyes:), tear an ACL and are out for the year.

That, my friend, is "karma" ... albeit "bad karma", but "karma" nonetheless, ;) ... and it seems, at times, that if it wasn't for "bad karma", the Lions would have "no karma" at all. Old time Saints fans can relate, I'm sure, ;).
