That one lopsided pick messed them up. I was actually happy they did it. It seldom ever accomplishes anything but weaken a team for years. They improved short term and then settled in for reality.

Oh, lawd, no! Mike Smith MUST stay in Atlanta. Me and my Saints buds have bets on when & where Smith's head will explode, and him moving from Atlanta will mess up the bet.

Mike Smith is the best thing that could have ever happened to Atlanta...and the Saints. Leave this man EMPLOYED!

Yesterday Arthur Blank told the Atlanta Constitution Journal....

"You’re up 21-0, there’s no way you lose that game...just no way. There’s nothing else I can say.”

Just two weeks ago, when discussing the falcon's record, Blank said

"...and it's because we know we have a greater capacity than that. If you have no capacity, you're not disappointed. When you have capacity and you don't perform, you are. So, we are."

Sounds like Blank's had enough.
