That sounds fair. Produce and get paid.

How is it a "sham"?
The total value of the contract can/could reach 126 mil if clauses are met... no one ever said it was guaranteed. And we all know those contracts never see the end. |

So my question would be, does a performance-laden contract like this count against a cap in it's full amount at the beginning of a season prior to performance-incentives being met? Or are they just considered to be 'out-there' in some sort of gray area of money that's not guaranteed? |

This is how contracts should be anyway, might motivate. Surprised the players union allowed a performance based contract.
Of course, having to settle for 25 Million is just aweful, lol. |

IDK, but he sure doesn't seem to be doing it as much lately,. Oh well, somewhere it says, "pride goeth before destruction and a haughty spirit before a fall, #kaepernicking" ... I added the #kaepernicking, ;) ... a little 'poetic license', :D. Hopefully the whole experience humbles him a bit and we can get back to just playing football, ... for the 'gamers' and just in time for Christmas: |
