Looks Like The NFL Will Try To Pin 'Deflategate' On A Locker Room Attendant

It was Colonel Mustard, with the revolver, in the billard room! :)

Allegedly, the locker room attendant took the New England Patriots’ footballs to “another area” before they made their way onto the field for the AFC Championship Game against the Indianapolis Colts. A video supposedly exists.

Patriots coach Bill Belichick told the media during a Saturday press conference that after looking into the issue over the past week, he had concluded that the team acted in accordance with the NFL’s guidelines. Belichick and Patriots quarterback Tom Brady have denied any involvement in the controversy.

Belichick blamed the deflation on naturally occurring factors like weather conditions or the process of rubbing balls to wear them in before games. A slightly under-inflated football can be easier to throw and catch.

ESPN reported last week that the NFL found that 11 of the team’s 12 footballs had been significantly under-inflated. All of the Colts’ footballs met league standards.

There is much truth in what Sherman said and that's conflict of interest is in full force with RG. It was on the last incident and it still is in effect and nobody seems to give a damn. The best outcome at this point would be for the SB ratings to fall off a cliff. That's the only thing that would force the owners to take action. I'll be in that stat because I refuse to watch it.

Investigation aside, this should be a great game.

I won't pretend to have any issues with watching it. It's clearly the two best teams this year.

Remarkable how quickly the NFL moves to acquire a video of a locker room attendant moving game balls to another room yet had so much trouble getting a hold of a video of a player knocking out his girlfriend in an elevator ... Roger's got some screwed up priorities, that's for sure,.

But, what about "ignorance not being an excuse"? I guess that applies when Roger feels like it.

Robert Kraft on Deflategate: Top Comments, Twitter Reaction on Patriots Scandal | Bleacher Report

Here is another article talking about Kraft's reaction and sports media kissing his ass for it. One that stood out to me was....

"As one source close to the #Patriots told me, this was Robert Kraft reminding Roger Goodell who he works for."

I think it's rather smart & ballsy on his part to take the offensive and demand an apology from the NFL,

Or Brady...

Kraft said Belicheck has never lied to him. I guess that means Belicheck told him before Spygate he had a plan to cheat and was upfront about it with him. BS. He lied to everyone that wasn't in on it. This is what Belichek said after Spygate:

"Once again, I apologize to the Kraft family and every person directly or indirectly associated with the New England Patriots." - Belicheck
