Seahawks' Jimmy Graham: 'I can block anybody I want'
During OTAs Graham dismissed the idea that he can't be a blocking tight end -- at one point joking with a media member that "I could show you."
"Listen, man, I'm 270 pounds. I can block anybody I want to," he said, via 710 ESPN Seattle. "It's all about want-to. We'll see come this first Sunday." Seahawks' Jimmy Graham: 'I can block anybody I want' - NFL.com |
Re: Seahawks' Jimmy Graham: 'I can block anybody I want'
So. I guess during the years Jimmy spent with the Saints he just didn't want to block. He must have confused basketball with football.
Thought as much. |
Re: Seahawks' Jimmy Graham: 'I can block anybody I want'
Did the Saints ask him to block? IDK, you'd think a 270lb TE would be able to block,.

Re: Seahawks' Jimmy Graham: 'I can block anybody I want'
I guess we are learning a valuable lesson getting someone with a ego like that. Thats what we drafted and dropped Shockey for. Shockey was ticked and trashed us for it. Looking back can we blame him? Shockey did rat us out but had it not been for him being cut, that probably never comes out.
It sucks but now we realize we cannot have young players with egos because players do not run our team. This also says Dan Quinn is probably nothing special since "the players run Seattle". |
Re: Seahawks' Jimmy Graham: 'I can block anybody I want'
Why didn't you do that with the Saints.

Re: Seahawks' Jimmy Graham: 'I can block anybody I want'
Well I guess it turns out he really is a good fit in Seattle.

Re: Seahawks' Jimmy Graham: 'I can block anybody I want'
Good thing becuase he's going to be doing a ton of it in Seattle.

Re: Seahawks' Jimmy Graham: 'I can block anybody I want'
Seattle didn't trade Unger and a 1st for him to be a blocking TE.

He's just a new toy for Wilson to play with on Sunday. Lynch ain't gonna like it and me thinks Lynch is holding back a tight grudge against Wilson for that crap he pulled on that last SB play.
Who cares if Pete called it. A good QB, Brees, Rodgers, Brady, even Starr (he pulled one Lombardi) reads the situation and changes the play to win. Lynch knows this and is smart enough to tank JG & RW. |
