Cris Carter - Get A Fallguy

Cris Carter told NFL rookies to get 'a fall guy,' NFL says 'inappropriate' - CBSSports.com

What a hypocrite.

Can't believe he said that, but did you see the look on Sapp's face.

1984 and 12 weeks of book discussion should become required reading before signing any contract. If they can't read, this should be addressed and can be addressed at this time.

Make the discussion well rounded with everyday people not University BoBo's.
Throw some kids in the mix for real honesty.

Carter, no such thing as fall guy.
Everything is recorded. You will get caught.

Example: Hernandez
Now Carter, a HOF player now disgraced by his own words. Recorded.

IDK, there was a lot of tongue and cheek involved in that in my opinion.

Anyway, a great player and what he does now that he's retired doesn't take anything away from that.

I disagree somewhat, it's all about projecting the "homey/gangsta" image and being 'cool' ... see it all the time. Here's a guy who could stand up in front of the incoming rookies in a HOF jacket and focus on how he became a success by dropping all that nonsense, instead he promotes/glamorizes it, with Sapp at his side, no less. What a couple of mentors, no wonder so many NFL athletes make the police blotters, #shrug.

Carter was a great player, and stand-up guy that he probably is, apologized.
