I have a question. Why do you think Phillip River is a great Quarterback. He's a very good Quarterback, but not a great one. He just might be a poor man's Peyton Manning.

He can't win. I watched that game last night. He's good don't get me wrong. He should have put the Chargers on his back and lead them to a win. That didn't happen.

I must be missing something. He's no Drew Brees. The Chargers made a huge mistake in letting Drew go. Thank God they did.

For me I don't see Phillip or the Chargers ever winning a Super Bowl.

Rivers is in that next tier of QBs below the elites ones

as for Gruden, he's great at Xs and Os but when he goes into over hyperbole mode about a player I have to mute him

To me Gruden is lesser to a lot of evils. Rather have him than a
lot of others. But sometimes his comments are way off the wall!
I think he tries to emulate Madden at times.

I tend to disagree. Rivers has had some hot stretches in his career where he put the team on his back and won. He just can't do it consistently - very few QB ever can.

Not to beat a dead horse. But if you watched that Greenbay game. Yeah, Phillip let the Chargers down.

No doubt ha had great numbers. But they do not win games. My point Jon Gruden SHUT UP!!!!!
