Bears cut Ratliff after reported altercation with GM

After playing in 17 games across three seasons in Chicago, veteran defensive lineman Jeremiah Ratliff's Bears career is over.

The team announced Thursday that Ratliff has been released, replaced on the roster by former Steelers first-round pick Ziggy Hood.

Meh, his best days were in Dallas, probably not too hard to let him go, #shrug. Guy's reportedly a loose cannon, if you believe the article.

I wouldn't waste anytime on another former Rob Ryan over the hill player.

Victor Butler, Anthony Spencer, Kenyon Coleman etc come to mind ... :confused:
