The NFL's quest to land a franchise in Los Angeles may be closer to fruition, as the San Diego Chargers will file official relocation paperwork to move to the City of Angels.

According to David Garrick of the San Diego Union-Tribune, Chargers special counsel Mark Fabiani said on The Mighty 1090 AM radio show that the team will make the request in January

Exactly, let one of the loser franchises move there, or the original Rams. Chargers seem to be doing well in San Diego, just sayin'.

Expected the Raiders & the Rams to move to Los Angeles and then the Jags to move to the vacated St. Louis vacancy...

San Diego fans have supported the team well, they're just not willing to take on the mortgage of a new stadium for the owner...

I was hoping for the Raiders to move and the Chargers and Rams to stay in place.
