Part of me is hapoy because I can't stand how the Patriots always get the breaks.
On the other hand, I hate that the court ruled in favor of Goodell.

I don't have a problem with that. WE all got pissed when the bountygate penalties were handed down and rightfully so. They were much to harsh. I know the first reaction may be one of distain for Goodell making it so hard on us but giving the Patriots a slap on the wrist so to speak. It is easy to say since we got treated harshly everyone should, but I think there is something to be said for a man who learns from his mistake and corrects it.
I cant fault him for this. It is a pretty harsh penalty all things considered. He is suspending arguably the best QB of all time for 4 games. That sends a message. Especially seeing how tight he and the Patriots are.

3 of the Pats 1st 4 games are against AFC opponents w/2 division games, Dolphins and Bills and a conference game, (@ Texans Thursday night).

Without Brady they could start the season with a losing record.

Regardless the outcome; Goodhell has way too much power. Judge, Jury, and Executioner, so to speak.

Not allowing him to have anything to do with the appeal would be a great start...

I know it's cliche at this point, but didn't the players allow this to continue based on the current collective bargaining agreement?

This decision was about Goodell having the power to suspend, not necessarily the circumstances of deflating the balls.

Its a loss for those that feel Goodell has too much power.
