I hadn't heard the criticism from the outside, but I must say I agree with it. He wasn't just bad, he was dishonest. He would blatantly lie about what was going on when a ref had clearly blown the call. He refused to ever admit a ref made a mistake, and it was completely obvious.
I was blown away with some of the things he said. Not sure what patience has to do with anything, and he was not a broadcaster. His job was very simple. Just comment on certain calls, and clarify rules from time to time. He showed no integrity in doing either of those things. |
If I had a nickel for every time I heard that, the NFL would fine and suspend me.

The one time "Head Of Officiating" Mike Pereira is wrong most of time too.
