The refs' defense is that they are graded after every game, yet they don't ever publish the grades or even the grading system. They also claim that these grades determine whether or not the official will be allowed to officiate during the post season. But the only evidence that we, as fans can see is that any official that keeps games close will be the ones allowed to officiate the playoffs.
It's almost as laughable as Goodell's claims that he has evidence of wrongdoing but never shows that evidence. |
