Very sad indeed. I lost my aunt to ALS over 10 years ago. She passed less than one year post-diagnosis. It's great to see Steve Gleason continuing to fight ALS as well as he has, however I wish the same could be said for others, not so fortunate to have the cutting edge health care he does.

Is it me, or does ALS affect athletes at a higher rate than the general public?
and this isn't a violent football is the devil question as the disease is colloquially named for one of the greatest baseball players of all-time... |

You bet 61 is way too young, ALS is brutal. Clark was an extremely talented player.
