Alliance of American Football

Y'all going to be watching? I think I will. Mostly to pull against the Atlanta team.

Yeah I’m excited to check out the first game tonight! I’m going to be a Birmingham Iron fan I think. I’m still pulling for Trent Richardson being from Pensacola and all.

I wish they would explain a little more about designated NFL teams though. The Saints are designated the Memphis Express but what does that mean exactly?

My thoughts exactly.

Yes, I will.

Had no idea Christian Hackenberg was in this league.

Hey this is pretty good! Watching the San Antonio-San Diego game and digging it so far.

I'm getting the Orlando-Atlanta game. Not bad, a little sloppy, but, I guess that's to be expected on the first night of a new league.

Biggest + for the AAF is that it doesn't have Roger Goddell .

I like it but not the constant reminder of the NFL. I get that these players are trying to get in or back to the NFL but this is not the NFL. People are watching because of that fact.

I watched a little but Tank Davis is fighting tonight.

Boy that ended quickly for Ruiz didn't it? If you got up for snacks, you missed it.

Davis is in a smaller weight class but he is the real deal.

I’m really into boxing, so I’ve been watching Davis for several years. The kid is the next big thing. To be so small, he hits like bricks. He still hasn’t be tested. Ruiz ain’t want that nose to get ****ed up any worse.

Now I’m curious to see how we (and other teams of course) incorporate the AAF into filling out our 90 man roster. It’s a really terrific way to scout and for players to put stuff on tape.

I LOVE THIS LEAUGE.
No flags on the ground after a perfect sack. Oh how I wish that was Tom Brady.

I loved how they go to the replay official up in the booth and have them mic’d up as they talk through what they’re seeing. They really are doing quite a few things better than the NFL already.

The "Eye In The Sky" in the Memphis vs Birmingham, review official blew an obvious ball hit the ground pass and called it complete.

AAF had better ratings than the NBA last night. That's a good sign for this new league.

Re: Alliance of American Football

I watched all first half of the San Antonio game. Very entertaining & the crowd was fully engaged. Like-able sport without the usual suspects ... Goddell, 15+ commercial breaks & refs influencing the outcome.

I'll continue to watch Alliance of American Football.

The AAF will suspend all football operations.

Honestly, I stopped watching after week 3. It was just bad football. It felt like watching a Jets-Bills snooze fest every week. Still, I’m sad to see it folding.
