NFL Owners have approached NBA Commissioner Adam Silver about possibly replacing Roger Goddell as Commissioner
Interesting read ...
If I had to guess "which owners" I'd put Jerrah Jones (Zeke suspension) and Craft (deflate-gate) at the top of my list. https://nfltraderumors.co/nfl-owners...roger-goodell/ |

Another commissioner that favors large market teams over mid-size, small market teams - why?!?

From Silver's statement...
"And ultimately, I realize I’m just passing through like every player who’s gone through this league and ultimately like every owner, and I feel an enormous obligation to the fans and to this greater NBA family to do my best and try my hardest every day." "Enormous obligation to the fans". Damn, that's a novel idea. I wonder if it ever crossed Roger's mind... |

I am not sure I really buy this story....
On the other hand, Silver has done a few good things in the NBA, but if you look back over the past several years, they still the same problem that league has always had - lack of parity. The NBA has tried to take measures to prevent tanking (which have hilariously failed) but they are at a point where I don't think there will ever be parity in that league. |
