Todd Gurley was playing through injury all season

Maurice Jones-Drew, the former NFL running back who currently works as the Rams’ radio analyst, says that running back Todd Gurley was hurt for the entire 2018 season.

Jones-Drew says that Gurley — who was not listed on the injury report until Week 16, the first game of the season that he missed — actually hurt his knee in the first game of 2018.

“Yes, he was banged up throughout the season. He got hurt in Week One, played through it the rest of the season,” Jones-Drew said on NFL Network. “He got banged up in Week One, he played through it, and he kind of just got worn down toward the end of the season.”

So Lambs' injury report was bogus all year?

It wouldn't surprise me to see Todd hang em up prematurely.

ACL tear (in college) history and now arthritis in the same knee? Be careful here. Your health is #1 priority.

Arthritis is horrible to go through and he is young to be dealing with that.

Sometimes it gets to the point of asking yourself - as bad and as unrecoverable as this is, would I be better off picking up two-three more million to make my family's lifestyle that much better post-injury/career?

Duh. Yes he was hurt. So what. RB's are a dime a dozen. Get another one and play the game. Or maybe just not run your RB's into the ground which is what they did. Keep doing that and yes, they will keep going down. That is why we parse out Kamara with another RB and why most GOOD teams do the same.

This is correct. They did run him into the ground.

At one point, Gurley was their offensive MVP.

Like how our offense was exposed in the Dallas game, the same thing happened to the Rams when they played the Bears. I'd argue the Rams were exposed much worse than us. Chicago basically showed that if you change your defensive alignments after the QB/Coach headset cuts off, you can completely confuse Goff cause he is not that smart with reading coverage.

The Patriots ran this exact same game plan on the Rams in the SB and Goff looked like a deer starring into headlights. I believe in the 4th quarter, McVay decided to just put the game in Goff's hands, but that failed cause his QB don't have high football IQ and looked like Rex Grossman out there.

McVay coaches that team like someone playing Madden or Tecmo Super Bowl with how Goff requires him to tell him where to throw the ball and what adjustments at the LOS to make.

They were not really the same again after that game, they just had a much weaker schedule than us mainly thanks to playing in the worst division. The week after the Bears loss, Philly beat them down in a game that shouldn't have been close. Then they got to beat up on two of the worst teams in the league (Cards and Niners).

I look forward to the Rams imploding. They have every right to be concerned over Gurley cause they are going to struggle without him. The Patriots showed the world how to humiliate Goff and teams will spend the whole off season looking at that tape and seeing ways to confuse him. If it weren't for McVay, he'd still be the same bust he was in 2016.

Nah. People only care about that when the Patriots do it, cause they apparently cheat at everything!
