Division titles break down

Recent article on FP has some cool analysis regarding division titles in history.

The Jets Have Been The Worst NFL Team At Winning Division Titles

Green Bay has the most with 27 overall with Dallas (24) trailing behind.

The Jets are the statistical worst at winning NFL titles by the stats here. We have only 7 division titles in our history, tied with Atlanta.

Of Green Bay's 27 division titles, 12 of them come from the Favre-Rodgers era beginning in 1995. Hard to believe that the Packers did not win a division with Favre until 1995, despite making the playoffs in 92, 93 and 94 (and winning a road playoff game all 3 years).

Miami has only won 2 division titles since Dan Marino's retirement - 2000 and 2008.

One that really surprised me was Baltimore only having 5 division titles since 1996. The Ravens were a perennial playoff team of the 2000s decade and still made noise in the early 2010s, so I figured they had much more than that.

Can appreciate Cardinals fans, as bad as for Red Sox Fans until we won the World Series...
