Former Razorback and NFL player Mitch Petrus dies at age 32
 

Former Razorback football player Mitch Petrus has died at the age of 32.

KATV sports team member and former Razorback David Bazzel of 103.7 The Buzz received confirmation of his passing early Friday morning.

Medics were called about 7:13 p.m. Thursday to a heat-related incident at X-Hog Towing and Recovery off of Frontage Road in Lonoke. Petrus was taken to a North Little Rock hospital where he was pronounced dead at 10:45 p.m.

Pulaski County coroner Gerone Hobbs said that Petrus died from a heat stroke and there were no underlying medical conditions.

RIP. 32 is too young to go. Not even really seen much life at that age.
