They couldn't stop it: How the Panthers used one run play over and over to shred the Jaguars

Re: They couldn't stop it: How the Panthers used one run play over and over to shred the Jaguars
Coaches today have a nasty habit of outsmarting themselves by trying to go against what's working, because they think they'll be figured out.
Vince Lombardi used to run the same play over and over, not just in one game, but every game. How'd he do? You should only change at any point that the defense shows they CAN figure it out. I guess the Panthers realized that today. |

Carolina has emerged as our competition now. We should win the division but it won't be won by week 12 like last year. As of now, I have us 11-5 and Carolina 9-7.

And this is why the Tecmo Super Bowl games only give you 4 run plays and 4 pass plays, or 8 total for each if you're playing the 2nd or 3rd games.

They all want Bill Belichick status, yet fail to recognize the simpleness of what he does... Belichick probably couldn't troubleshoot a non-starting car, but he's dumb things down to make winning football easy - and not always with the best athletes... |

Carolina is pretty much winning off McCaffrey. Like the Cowboys and Elliot, once you stop it, let everyone else beat you and see what happens.
Carolina hasnt run into a team with the ability to stop it yet, hence why they on 3 game win streak. They going to hit rock bottom by mid season. |
