Re: Super Bowl MVP calls for investigation into NFL referees over calls during Lions-Packers game
We probably did push open Pandoras box but I dunno, hard to really determine if it triggered a reaction or not, it seems whats really happening now is with all the criticism officials get, they just went and said F it, we going to call everything.
They been calling everything, but now instead of them not calling something, they calling alot of things that never happened or questionable. Saints is one of the most disciplined teams in the NFL and they were probably near top of the league with most penalties at one point in the season. I remember the Skins/49ers via youtube, I saw it not long ago, I cant remember what happened either but I was thinking to myself, 49ers got screwed big, I dont think it was 1 particular play, it was more than 1 if memory serves. Rooneys had people questioning if they really running the NFL, it seems so much of todays game has been driven by them to benefit them. What more, you never see or hear of a scandal or anything from Pittsburgh except steroid use in the 1970s, that was 30 years later hearing about it. |
