He's retiring after this year.

Have you guys seen how bad Brady has looked this year? The Pats would actually be better off with a young QB to develop.

If he really does leave NE and goes to another team, it's going to have horrible results. They would be a 4-4 type team without that defense.

We've noticed he hasn't been great. Bad is a bit of an overstatement. He's a decent game manager this year.

Bad is Mitchell Trubisky, Dwayne Haskins, Josh Rosen, Marcus Mariota, etc.
K Major likes this.

Tonight's game proved otherwise. He is far from a decent game manager.

He isn't going to post the crazy INT numbers Manning did in 2015 cause he rarely ever takes risks like that down field, but Brady is having a year that is nearly identical to his in terms of production and efficiency.

He has no arm left. Advanced stats showed last year that when he was throwing the ball down field over 10 yards, he was essentially just throwing it up for grabs. This year that declining arm is even worse. It helps that he is usually throwing short passes, as the Pats offense has relied on YAC for years to inflate Brady's stats.

The Pats seem to have suffered some losses to the o-line, hence why their run game is struggling. Without that, they have to rely entirely on defense to bail them out.
