Better hope the Falcons don't get a legit, fresh, talented HC with innovative ideas on offense. They have talent to compete.

That’s what I’m saying. It’s great short-term to laugh at what they’ve become and firing their coach but damn if that isn’t an attractive job to the top HC candidates. Waaaay more attractive than the Texans or Jets.

Absolutely agree. But, when your biggest rival wants you to keep your head coach, that's probably a bad sign.

Looking back at it all, I hated when they hired DQ because he was the big time coaching candidate that year. My fear was warranted too as they eventually went to the Super Bowl. The rest is history though and they never recovered.

Now I fear that they might land the best coaching candidate again (Eric Bienemy maybe?)

Bah, as long as they have Matty Icy they are doomed, coaches don't matter. Their O-line gave Matt mostly all the time he needed and he still couldn't get it done.

Matt hasnt been anything without good talent at WR or TE position.

Fortunate for the Falcons FO, they have hit on that position well over the years. I dunno why they let Hooper go though, that could be a big part of why they 0-5.

This is along the same lines as Doc Rivers ... historical repeated choking is just too much to expect to overcome. That Cowboys loss was the straw that broke the camel's back.

They went from Mike Smith to DQ, and most of us thought it was an upgrade, but the rest is history.

There's no reason history couldn't repeat itself...

Although, getting a new GM will add its own spice into the mix.

It would be nice to see them go 6-10 this season just so they'd miss out on the top prospects.

Dan Q is a defensive coordinator not many make good head coaches . Ask the lions. Y’all may not like this but I would take Dan Q as a DC over DA just my opinion

The Falcons board is nothing short of comical. Their fanbase doesn't seem very bright outside of a handful of posters there, and the one's I'm speaking of are calling their fanbase trash. They're wanting to gut the whole team. Most actually think they can get multiple high picks for Ryan and Julio. It's very entertaining over there.
