Who is going to pull fo the Raiders next year?
 

Brooks did give us our only playoff victory. Gotta be worth something. I certainly wish him well... good thing we don't play them. I would really hate to see him have a great game like so many other players that left us....

AB didn't "give" us a playoff victory any more than Willie Jackson, Joe Horn, or Az Hakim(haha) did. It was a collective effort. He did some great things when he was here...and dude of course he'll have a few good games with the Raiders. They do have better WRs overall than we do. Oh well....it happens. But pull for the Raiders....not in a million years. Their fans do nothing but berate our team and dog us for "holding Brooks down".

I'd rather focus on OUR team, not players that are no longer on our roster. I couldn't give two craps about the Raiders.

Seriously, give it up. This guy isn't on the team anymore. Nobody wants to hear about him EVERY FREAKIN DAY. There isn't any news about him, and even if there was, it doesn't belong here anymore. This board is for Saints player and team info, not ex-player (and bad ones at that) news. Do you see anybody bringing up Ricky Williams every single day here? Neither do I. So seriously, stop bringing up Aaron Brooks, it's getting real old real quick.

goldrush and the deuce i agree. this isn't the place for the brooks debate no longer. i don't care how his career goes. i don't care if he is good or bad. i am a saint fan and he isn't a saint. i really don't think he should be brought up anymore. i am sure though that the first game brees has that he dopesn't play well in will be the start of the brooks brees debate. if the team was wrong for letting the man go then time will tell and to be honest it won't matter because he won't be our qb. i hope that brees is everything he was before and if not then we mad a mistake and will have to live with it. with that said i didn't want arron back regardless of what happens with drew. forever man i don't thnk anyone wants hear about someone not on the team anymore uless it is related to an illness or something other then football. whatever your extreme fetish is with arron brooks try to get it out of your system and move on. i don't know buy a pair of his old shoes and smell them ever day if you have to but please please stop with the brooks posts.

You bring up a good point... Where is Ricky Williams... is he still playing for the Dolphins?

Hey guys, I bleed black and gold too, but I find it at least interesting what happens to some of the guys we cut. Brooks has been in the news lately and just because you don't care about Brooks doesn't mean that the question in not valid.

Some people just hate Brooks so much that they can't give the guy a break. If you don't have something good to say, you can always say nothing. I wish all of our X players well. I guess it's just a prespective thing.

I don't even know why I am responding to this but here I am doing it anyway. Brooks came in after Blake got hurt and took over a pretty solid team with nothing to lose and if it were not for the Wizard of AZ you wouldn't be talking about one playoff win, you would be talking about another loss.

Hey who doesn't like hearing NEWS about ex-Saints players? I heard the news that came out YESTERDAY when he actually signed. But absolutely nothing in your post has anything to do with NEWS. It's just dwelling on the past, and dwelling on a player that you know a lot of people dislike and don't want to talk about it. Yet, for some reason, you keep bringing it up. If Brooks makes the news tomorrow for throwing a ball so far backwards that it ended up in 2005, then you can post something. But until then, save your fantasies for yourself.

I don't hate Brooks. I think he's a crappy player, and I'm glad he's gone. Our team is better without him. And if you want to try a new rule, if you don't have something that has to deal with the current Saints team, the city of new Orleans, or something at least having a little bit to do with the New Orleans Saints franchise, don't say anything at all.
